Privacy policy
Which data we process, why, and what rights you have. Last updated in August 2026.
1. Which data we process
When you request a quote or make an appointment, we process your name, address, phone number and email address, as well as the details of the installation needed to carry out the work correctly.
2. Photos and documents you send us
With the contact form and the battery tool you can send photos of the situation and your energy bill. That is always optional. Such a bill contains more than just your consumption — often also your address, customer number and EAN code. We only use those files to assess your request and calculate a correct price, and keep them with your file. If you want them deleted, an email is enough.
3. What you enter in the calculator
The calculator on the home battery page runs entirely in your own browser. What you set with the sliders is not sent and not stored. Only when you submit the form below it do your answers and contact details reach us.
4. What we use it for
To schedule appointments, prepare quotes, arrange the inspection and the registration with Fluvius, apply for incentives and invoice. The legal basis is the performance of our agreement and our legal obligations.
5. Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We only share it where the work requires it: with the accredited inspection body, with the grid operator Fluvius, with the competent authority for an incentive application, and with our accountants.
6. Cookies and statistics
On your first visit we ask whether we may measure how the site is used. If you refuse, no measurement script is loaded. If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 to track which pages are visited and how visitors move through the site, with a truncated IP address. The legal basis for this is your consent. We don't use those figures for advertising and don't sell them on. You can change your choice at any time via the cookie page.
7. How long we keep it
Files of completed work are kept for as long as the warranty and statutory retention periods require. Billing data is kept for seven years, as tax legislation prescribes.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to its processing. A simple email is enough.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, and only give access to those who need it to carry out the work.
10. External processors
For our website, email and accounting we use external service providers. This site is hosted by Vercel, requests from the forms are delivered by email via Resend, and visitor statistics run — only with your consent — through Google Analytics. The necessary data processing agreements are in place with our service providers. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, this is done under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
11. Contact and complaints
Questions about your data? Email info@mlk-solutions.be. You can also always lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
