Terms and conditions
The conditions for our quotes, work and use of this website. Last updated in August 2026. This English version is provided for convenience; the Dutch version is legally binding.
1. Scope
These conditions apply to every quote, order and execution of work by MLK Solutions, business number BE 0789.405.103, and to the use of this website.
2. Quotes and prices
Every job starts with a written quote. Prices remain valid for thirty days. Extra work is only carried out after your explicit approval. The 6% VAT rate only applies to homes older than ten years used as a private residence; in other cases it is 21%.
3. Appointments and cancellation
An appointment can be moved or canceled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. For a later cancellation, we may charge costs already incurred.
4. Execution and inspection
Work is carried out to the AREI. The legally required inspection is performed by an external accredited inspection body and is listed separately on the quote. We prepare the installation and supply the single-line diagram and layout plan.
5. Warranty
We provide a warranty on our workmanship. The manufacturer's warranty also applies to equipment. As a consumer, you always retain your statutory rights regarding conformity under Book VI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law.
6. Your obligations
You provide safe access to the work area, report known risks and make sure the space is clear to work in. Hidden defects that only become visible during the work are reported by us before we continue.
7. Use of this website
The texts, photos and logo on this site belong to MLK Solutions and may not be reproduced without permission.
8. Calculator and indicative prices
The calculator and configurator on this site give an order of magnitude based on what you enter yourself. They do not take into account your actual quarter-hourly consumption, your roof, your energy contract or the condition of your installation, and are therefore neither a quote nor a promise of return. Only what is stated on a signed quote binds us.
9. Liability
Our liability is limited to what is covered by our public liability insurance. This does not affect your mandatory rights as a consumer.
10. Applicable law
This agreement is governed by Belgian law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district where our registered office is located. As a consumer, you can also contact the Consumer Ombudsman Service.
11. Changes and contact
We may amend these conditions. The version on this page is always the one in force; in case of a difference between languages, the Dutch version prevails. Questions? Email info@mlk-solutions.be.
